Prior to the installation of AOL for your Palm handheld, connect the handheld cradle to your desktop computer and install the Palm Desktop software on your computer, as described in the Palm documentation. You use the computer and the Palm Desktop software to install AOL on your Palm handheld. Deleting AOL from Your Palm handheldIf you delete AOL from your Palm handheld, you not only delete the application, but all associated data. If you need to delete AOL from your Palm handheld, use the following procedure.
Backing up AOL on Your Palm HandheldEach time you perform a HotSync, the AOL data in your handheld is backed up to your desktop computer. If you do a hard reset and then do a HotSync, the data will be restored to your handheld. |
